4. Legal basis for processing
Depending on the situation, I process your personal data on the following legal bases:
Contract or steps taken at your request — for example, when you contact me about a photography session or book a service.
Legitimate interests — for example, to communicate with clients, maintain website security and prevent spam or abuse.
Legal obligations — where I am required to keep certain information for accounting, tax or other legal purposes.

Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw your consent at any time.
5. Contact and booking enquiries
When you contact me through the website, I use the information you provide to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, arrange and provide the requested service.
Your contact information will not be used for unrelated marketing purposes unless you have separately agreed to receive such communications or another lawful basis applies.

Photography may involve personal data, including identifiable photographs of you and other people participating in a session.
The use of identifiable photographs for my portfolio, website, social media, advertising or other promotional purposes is separate from the provision of the photography service itself. Where consent is required, it will be requested separately.
7. Website hosting and Squarespace
This website is hosted and operated using Squarespace.

Google reCAPTCHA — protection against spam and automated abuse;
Google Workspace / Gmail — business email services and communication;

When you follow a link to an external website such as Fine Art America, you leave my website and that service's own privacy policy and terms apply.
I do not use Weglot on this website.
11. International data transfers
Some of the service providers mentioned above may process personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA).
Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA, appropriate safeguards are used where required by applicable data protection law, such as an adequacy decision or Standard Contractual Clauses.

client and financial records may need to be retained for longer periods to comply with legal, tax and accounting requirements;
customer or student account information is retained while the account and associated services are needed.
