program and EXPLANATION
Basically there are 2 types of workshops. A big one, 2 days long, and a small one, 1 day long.
The base of the program is the same. The difference is in time and in the details.
I would suggest you to opt for the 2days one if you prefer to have some space to think and to reload and if you like things slower.
If you are about to get all possible information very condensed and in a short time, then welcome to the 1day workshop.
MY WORKSHOPS ARE FOR EVERYONE.
FOR BEGINNERS – you’ll get an idea of art photography from inside.
You’ll get motivated and just in 1 day you’ll get a lot of useful information you might need years to discover by yourself.
FOR PROFESSIONALS – you’ll find new points of view, enrich your skills with new tricks, widen your vision and get all your questions answered.
If you stacked with lack of inspiration and have no idea what to do, you’ll get new ideas and a creative kick.
THEORY (about 2,5 hours)
We will talk about sources of inspiration, development of ideas from the scratch, preparation of the processes, collaboration with the model, working with natural light. We will discuss cameras, lenses, film or digital, workspace and tools.
SHOOTING PRACTICE (about 3 hours) We will create several photo-stories from the scratch with the help of models, clothing and props. Important!!! Shootings are normally outdoors, please dress up comfortable.
PHOTO-EDITING (about 2,5 hours). In theoretic part we will talk about logic of post-production process. Why and how post-product art photographs and how to find sources of editing inspiration. In the Photoshop part we will edit the photos taken during the photo-shoot. The main points are:
Working with RAW files. Pulling out the best from your camera. Making your photo technically perfect, framing and alignment of the photos, removing unwanted details, stretching and proportions changing..
Color. Detecting and tuning of the main colors, effective color combinations, understanding emotions of colors.
Creative edit. Faded tones, texturing, grain, adding a “filmish” effect. How to convert to bw. Portrait retouching.
